Tier 1 rifts spawn chance
Tier 1 rifts can be spawned if the generated rift level is 1 - 23 (most common at rift level 1) with the following chances. It determines the chance of a newly spawned rift being Tier 1 out of all possible tiers at the same rift level.

Enemy stats in lava rifts
Outside of the base scaling and their level scaling, all enemies in Lava rifts move 50% faster in exchange for almost permanent
Slow vulnerability, increasing the potency of
Slows on every enemy in the rift by 50%.

Strategy and additional changes in Lava rifts
- As all enemies from Lava rifts are very weak to
Slow effects, such effects can be used to counter their high movement speed - It's especially important to keep distance from melee enemies that can use crowd control (E.g. Chilling strike)
