Flashward is a defensive Storm spell which stays active for 0.3 seconds after use. During this time, it can absorb a single enemy attack regardless of its power. It can negate one
Bleed tick or an attack that would otherwise take 50% of your hitpoints.
If Flashward successfully absorbs damage, you will recharge mana based on the amount of damage prevented, relative to your maximum hitpoints.
You recharge 2.5 mana per each 1% of maximum hitpoints taken as damage, up to a maximum of 50 mana (20% maximum hitpoints as damage)
This amount is further increased by mana regeneration.

If you successfully block an attack, you gain Empower, increasing your damage for the next 2 seconds by 5 to 100%, based on the damage taken. The exact multiplier formula is .
