Mana
Mana is a resource used to cast stronger spells while weaker spells are often either free or recharge your mana instead.
Generating mana
Base mana regeneration
Your mana regeneration increases as your mana decreases until you reach 25% of your maximum mana. Once you're under 25% of your maximum mana, the speed of your mana regeneration no longer keeps increasing but regenerates the fastest. Your mana without any other modifiers will regenerate at 10 mana per second while at 100% of your maximum mana, 15 mana per second while at or under 25% of your maximum mana, linearly scaling in between.

Mana regeneration can be increased from your equipment. Mana regeneration is simply added to the base mana regeneration.
(E.g. 15 base mana regeneration + 10% mana regeneration (stat) regenerates 16.5 mana per second).
Out of combat regeneration
While you're out of combat, your mana regenerates 5 times faster.
Increasing mana pool
You start with 1000 mana which can be increased by consuming soul of mana. You can obtain these from quests but it's also possible obtain them from killing enemies.
