Level in Torisia is very important as it can greatly affect how much you can do in combat and even outside of it.
Level affects:
- Your chance to hit enemies
- Your stats - You gain more power and vitality:
- Every time you level up, your power is changed to (+ additional unchangable 20 attack)
- Every time you level up, your vitality is changed to (+ additional unchangable 300 hitpoints)
- A few (especially ultra rare) items base their item level on your level when you obtain them (E.g. Hivebender)
- Equipment often need you to be above a certain level to equip them.
- Many spells have effects that require your level to be the same or higher than your target's.
- You gain one skill point every time you level up.
Experience
You can gain experience in many ways but the most common ones are killing enemies and doing quests. After you reach a certain experience threshold (as seen in the table below), you progress to a new level.ADD LEVEL UP ANIMATION
Your current experience and the amount required for a new level can be seen in both, the character window and the ability bar. The highest level is 60.
