Crime - Voluntary custody

Voluntary custody is a non violent crime that is automatically added to your list of crimes if you decide to do so. This option is available if you have to pay. In this case, you can always choose to go to jail instead (if you can't or don't want to pay a fine). This crime is added to your list of crimes. It's added the moment you accept going to jail so there's no way to negotiate your way out of it.

Arrest

This crime is added automatically upon accepting going to jail in any arrest that offers you to pay a fine.

If this is your worst crime committed, accepting the punishment has the following effects outside of other fine based punishments

• Losing reputation equal to $All\;infamy\;points/40$, up to 100 reputation points lost
• NPCs lose $All\;infamy\;points/50$ opinion on you, up to 200, spread equally among every NPC in the settlement
