Lockpicking is a non violent crime that happens when:
- NPC notices you when you're lockpicking a lock. This is checked every 0.5 seconds while the lockpicking window is opened
- It's considered a crime only when you're lockpicking something that belongs to someone (mostly any sort of container inside of some building)
- NPCs ignore you if you're lockpicking locks something else (e.g. random chest in a forest)
- You can tell if lockpicking a certain object is considered a crime if the interaction text is red
- As lockpicking does not pause the time, it's possible to start lockpicking in safe area but with an NPC coming to you.
