Effect
It can be equipped in the same way as any weapon can so you cannot have a regular weapon and a fishing rod equipped at the same time. However, it can be used for glamour on weapons.
This fishing rod makes reeling in 40% slower compared to using any weapon, making staying in the catch zone much easier.
