Gathering and mining
There's many various crafting materials and a lot of them can be obtained via gathering and mining. You can obtain them from their respective nodes anywhere around Torisia. Gathering and mining grants you

Mining
You can obtain all minerals by mining them from their mining nodes. Only 10 mining nodes over Torisia can be depleted at all times. Whenever you mine another node, the oldest depleted node replenishes.
Their yield can be greatly increased:
- During the day, you mine 50% more basic minerals on average.
- During the night, you mine 50% more standard and advanced minerals.
- Gathering potion increases the yield by 10 - 15%.

Gathering
You can obtain all flower material along with some basic food by gathering plants across Torisia. Only 10 plants over Torisia can remain depleted at all times. Whenever you gather another plant, the oldest depleted plant regrows.
Their yield can be greatly increased:
- During the day, standard flower materials have a 50% higher drop chance.
- During, the night you gather 50% more basic flower materials.
- Bees sometimes fly out of their beehives to pollinate plants. Pollinated plants yield 2.5 times more flower material and also always yield 1
Everbloom dust (unaffected by any bonuses), required to craft unlimited potions.
- Gathering potion increases the yield by 10 - 15%.

Elemental nodes
Elemental nodes let you collect elemental essences to help you fight through enemy resistances. They're unlimited so if desired, you can fill your inventory from a single node. You always get a single elemental essence per interaction which cannot be increased in any way.
The power of elemental essences obtained this way varies based on the node's location.
- Safe locations (without enemies or close to settlements) give minor essences
- Dangerous locations (usually in the middle of a group of enemies give standard essences
- Dungeons give superior essences
