Lockpicking
Lockpicking is an action used to unlock locked objects
You can quickly tell which objects are locked without interacting with them by looking at the interaction text.

Lockpicks
You need at least one lockpick to start the lockpicking minigame. There are multiple lockpicks with the only difference between them being the chance that they break when you fail to lock a pin in.
| Lockpick type | Chance to break |
|---|---|
| 100% | |
| 95% | |
| 90% | |
| 85% | |
| 80% | |
| 75% | |
| Impossible to break |
If you have multiple lockpicks, you can select which one to use once you start lockpicking.

Unlocking
Once you interact with a locked objects, a lockpicking window opens.

The goal is to lock all pins in their place. To do so, you have to time pressing the left mouse button or interaction key while the lock bar is passing under the hit spot.

- If successful - The pin is locked in place and you move to the next lock pin or unlock the objects
- If failed - The pin bounces back to its original place. Based on the lockpick used, there's a chance it might break. You can keep trying as long as you have lockpicks

Unlike with most of the windows, lockpicking doesn't stop the time while opened. If someone sees you lockpicking an object that belongs to someone else, they will report you to the guards for lockpicking.
Lock difficulty
Lock difficulty represents how hard is the lock to lockpick. Each 2
Thievery levels reduce the lock difficulty by 1, down to -30 at level 60. Difficulty can range from 1 to 100, changing to 1 to 70 at highest
